I cannot praise Andromeda Solutions highly enough. They came to my home to repair my desktop PC. I was visited by George and Jarred who were both very knowledgeable, thorough in their work, professional, polite and respectful of my home and property. Really... nice people and a pleasure to have in your home.In the end, because of the age of my PC, it was not possible to repair it. This was discussed with me by the company who were extremely honest. To their credit, Andromeda Solutions honoured their company policy and refunded me the amount I had paid for the repair immediately and without issue. Can't speak highly enough about this service. I managed to let my anti virus software lapse and got a nasty virus. Despite updating I was still having issues. I contacted Andromeda on a Sunday and was amazed to receive a response immediately. They would... have solved my issue at that time remotely but I had other things on. Instead, amazingly they solved it at 8 am the following day which only happened to be the funeral day of HRH QE2. Absolutely amazing efficient customer service. As I work from home my laptop is vital for my work. But that's not all they went on to notice a slight issue I was having with my emails and as added value solved that too. My cpu sparked and caused my computer to stop working, wouldn’t start at all. We have been working with Peter and his excellent team for just over 3 years, for our general tech setup, system and hardware upgrades, or for when things simply go wrong for no apparent reason. On a recent Friday afternoon, our ISP took down all of our... servers, effectively shutting down our business before an important trading weekend. After a brief call, Peter had left his desk, and within 40 minutes was in our back office working on a solution. Within 90 minutes we had a long overdue server upgrade fully operational, with all of our systems back online. As a small start up business, we don't have the resource for an internal IT department or specialist. Excellent service. Following a major paper jam, which was cleared, I changed two ink cartridges on my Officejet. It then refused to print certain colours and said it detected an error. Notified Andromeda Solutions who came the next day to a village near... Whitby and sorted the problem in under an hour most of which was spent in finding the cause. We had a problem with our email in Outlook on our home computer that my husband and I spent many hours trying to fix. My laptop had just passed its guarantee and the firm I bought it from did not want to know about my problems. I saw Andromeda on the web site when I put my post code in looking for repair specialist, They had good reviews so I gave them a ring. Peter... Summerhill answered and said he would normally be able to come straight away but was very busy.So we settled on a time and date to suit both of us. He rang me when he was on his way and on arrival was very friendly. He soon found the problem and also cleaned out all the sites I never use while also giving it a health check.
